Having gone to NYU for undergrad, I don’t know the dynamic that football coaches have with alumni and their expectations to help with fundraising, but still, the disparity in value between the people who are actually teaching students an education (not to say one doesn’t learn things on the field or through the experience of being on a team), and coaches is troubling, but not surprising.
